The Royal Salt Mines in Wieliczka and amongst the oldest (dating back to the 13th Century) and largest (over 300km) in the world.

They contain not only a plethroa of carved salt statues, but an entire chapel (chandeliers included) carved entirely out of  rock salt.

Another UNESCO site that goes onto my list!
